Did you know that a plunge bra doesn't always mean push up and max cleavage? It refers to the size of the wire.
These are all plunge bras. Which is your favourite?
Not really sure what I'm doing over here 😂 but let me introduce myself.
I'm Chloe and I run two businesses.
The first is Maybe & Baby which offers services for pregnant women and new families.
The second is @totallybustedlingerie I am an independent bra fitter based in Leicestershire. I offer maternity/nursing fittings, regular fittings and mastectomy fittings too
This next generation haven’t had it easy.
Meet Billy my 14 year old who this week should have been bounding into year 10 and the start of his G.C.S.E’s. His 15 year old Sister in her final year at school.
But they aren’t.
Because they go to a school which has been closed due to this concreate chaos that has decended on the UK. With half their school closed it’s impossible for the school to get nearly 2000 students back into school.
Billy is currently online learning in the living room. He’s chatting to me about science, food tech and computer science. He’s already told me how much he hates online learning. Billy is the year group that lost out on their final year in primary school due to covid. They didn’t sit their SATS, didn’t have a leavers disco and parents couldn’t attend their leavers assembly to see them pick up awards etc. I really feel for them. His secondary school life feels like it’s playing catch up as has the life experiences. But he never moans about it (well except the other night when he heard all next week he’s online learning at home again).
His sister has headed in today and will be in next week but timetables, juggling rooms and no canteen do not make it ideal.
And yet they go on. They just deal with each challenge as it arises.
Brexit, Covid, Ukraine War, our Queen dying… 4 things lately I’ve muttered the words “this is once in a lifetime stuff, you’ll never live through something like this again” and then the next thing happens. Their generation get a bad reputation at times but let’s shout out the positives here- they are resilient, they have learnt to be adaptable, they do not take things for granted and they don’t fear change as much as some of us do!
And let’s hope that the schools effected by the concrete issue can get back to normal asap and the kids can enjoy their final years in school before heading out into the big wide world, which is scary for us parents- my daughter is heading into the army and Billy wants to continue with his rugby. Go smash those dreams kids.
