Book Launches are a great way to ensure sccess of your book and a Virtual Assistant is a great way to execute this

It's Week 2 of the A-Z for reasons to hire a Virtual Assistant:

B for Book Launch

So you've completed your book, its all published and ready to be shared with the world but now you hit the stumble of how to execute it

Good thing for you is that I am also an event planner so with my high organisation and event planner means that we can ensure your book launch is a success.

Book Launches do not have to be big and fancy but they do take a lot of planning, a bit like a jigsaw puzzle

Here's the steps I would follow to ensure success.

Source Advanced Reader Copies (ARC)

This gives you reviews of the book that will all go into your marketing. Your VA can assist with this by ensuring that those who agree to read the book, do so within the time frame and give you the review. We can never guarantee that they will do a review but ensuring you have enough people signing up means the ratio and chances of reviews are better.

Blog Tour

You can ask your ARC sign ups to also take part in a blog tour. Writing a blog as their review which again takes some coordination, ensuring their blog goes live on the agreed date and that they have shared it in the agreed upon places

Launch Event

Now this can either be as a mini book signing/reading in a local cafe or as an online event via an invited facebook group, the choice is yours. Again your VA can assist the logistics of this and add it into your marketing plan to ensure attendees and ultimately sales

Follow Up from the Event

Your launch activity is complete but it doesn't stop there. Get reviews from attendees and keep sharing with your audience how they can get their hands on the book! Also keep talking about this book over the coming months until your next project is ready and then we simply repeat

Email Marketing

Sharing the details with the list of how they can become an ARC reader, blogger and attend the event. Your email list is your VIPs and if you're not telling them how they can be the 1st to know about your next book then you're missing a trick

These steps can aid in ensuring your book launches with a bang and using a Virtual Assistant to manage and coordinate it all will help to reduce the stress and overwhelm!
