F is for Focus
We have previously discussed how delegating to a Virtual Assistant requires a mindset shift but once you've made the shift it gives you time!
A Virtual Assistant will give you back time because whilst they're doing the tasks that always take you forever, you can focus on writing your books.
Find it hard to keep your Social Media marketing consistent?
Pass it to a Virtual Assistant and know that there are always posts going out and all you have to do is interact unless you want the VA to also do this, but give them some guidance on your style so that it's not obvious to your audience that it's not you!
By giving you more time to focus you will also find that you have an overall sense of clarity of what you need to do because you're not trying to juggle all the things. Focus isn't just about giving you the time to write, it's also about giving you the mental capacity to strategise with how you want your author journey to progress along with setting a timeline for your books.
Whilst a VA is there to help with the tasks you dislike, they can also be a great sounding board for the strategy as they come up with ideas you haven't thought of but also don't have the emotional attachment to the outcome which is why I call myself An Author's Best Friend.
