We are looking for others who hold a neuro-affirming, strengths based approach to join us for:

🐧 Monthly mastermind meetings with support, accountability and goal setting for the month ahead.

🐧 Community WhatsApp group for on going safe space to share

🐧 Monthly CPD led by a different member of the Think Tank each month to upskill each other in different areas of SEND

🐧 Networking and collaboration opportunities... Together we can build relationships, make connections and make waves in order to support many more families

I don't know about you but sometimes I procrastinate a lot!

I've been wanting to record a course to link up to my book 'My child has exams... now what?' for months but it kept getting pushed down the priority list again and again... Until today!

Thanks to some encouragement from a wonderful lady to just get it done, I did! And so now next week a course to help parents to support their children through the exam years will be out... Ready for those mocks that might be round the corner!

What is that thing you need to do and keeps getting pushed down the list?

Set a date and time (share it with me or another friend to stay accountable) and get it done... It feels so much better when it is!

Great day yesterday at the Epilepsy12 OPEN UK National Conference 2023 and a privilege to be able to present parent viewpoints to the attendees. Thank you Emma Sparrow for inviting me!

Hearing about the priorities for epilepsy care was encouraging. There was also a lot of talk about better support for the mental health of young people with epilepsy and parent/carers which on the back of multiple seizures this week and my nervous system on high alert was a welcome message.

I will continue to share experiences and raise awareness of the impacts of living with epilepsy and counter the misconceptions still present in society, for my children and others.
