When did you last smile?
An instant mood booster and a way to feel JOY is simply - to SMILE! 😃
So why does smiling boost your mood?
Not only does it use less muscles than frowning and hence less wrinkles - bonus right?, when we smile we release chemicals in our brain which lead to better health.
💚 Endorphins - a natural pain reliever
💚 Serotonin - a natural mood booster and anti-depressant
💚 Dopamine - a natural feel good hit
All natural, all easy to give yourself on a daily basis and who doesn't want a happy hit!
How often have you walked past someone and they smile at you - do you naturally smile back? How did you feel in that moment? Do you think "oh that's nice, they smiled at me, I feel special"? Chances are you then smile at the next person too!
If you aren't likely to see another face for a while, smile at yourself in the mirror! Yes, you might feel a a bit of a wally at first but hey , if you laugh doing it then you'll only increase those natural hits and feel even better!
Try it, see how you feel and do share with us how it goes!
Challenge: Can you smile at least 3 times in your day and how about smiling at someone else today too.
