When you’ve always worked for someone else, especially if its a big corporation, and you have what people see as a “Good Job” it can be a fucking nightmare telling them you’re gonna start your own business.

People proper QUOFFED at me when I worked in the bank and told them I was leaving to become a Reiki practioner and yoga teacher🤪They were like “REALLY!! REKKI and yoga”

They didn’t even know what Reiki was and just smirked and literally laughed in my face 🤦🏼‍♀️

But I had this feeling.

One that I couldn’t ignore.

Like a deep inner knowing, a burning flame of desire in my belly that wouldn’t stop whispering to me 🔥

It was my calling.

Sounds cheesy, but I’m so fucking glad I listened to it!

And what got me through was remembering and focusing on how much Reiki and yoga had helped to start my own healing journey. How they had helped me be more present for not just myself but for my kids.

I wanted to help people to feel how I felt. To help them escape from reality for even a small amount of time, to help them release and let go in a safe space. To help them feel like they could breathe again.

THIS WAS MY REASON. And it helped me push through the “I’m gonna shit myself” feeling again and again when I was starting my business.

And this is what I help my clients do inside of the Spiritual Business Academy, to get clear on their reason, their vision and their goals while working alongside other ambitious empowering women on the same journey. So that no matter how many times they wobble, they have strong foundations to come back to, reminding them WHY they wanted to be their own boss, and how they’re gonna change their world 🌍
