We have a little one whose Fight or Flight Mode is on high and is having a hard time settling but what can we do about it?

Below are a few things we already do, we are working with 'mum' to help little one settle as quickly and effortlessly as possible, so little one will join us for an extra morning a week as I feel the initial break from us is too long. Once little one is settled then we can drop that morning and go back to our original schedule.

The proprioceptive senses play a significant role in promoting calmness and grounding and are stimulated through activities like crawling, compression swings, deep pressure, big hugs, jumping on beanbags, and experiencing vibration. These activities help regulate the nervous system, release tension, and instill a sense of calm and control.

Gentle Music and Lullabies:

Play calming music or sing lullabies to provide auditory stimulation. Soft, rhythmic sounds can help regulate their nervous system and create a comforting atmosphere.
Remember to observe the little ones cues and adjust activities accordingly, ensuring a positive and supportive interaction.
