Is Yours Fumpty Too? #mindset #lifecoach

I'm revisiting the very old, well-known question of half-full, half-empty but in a different light.

Is yours fumpty too?

I want to revisit the well-known classic question “is your cup half-empty or half-full?” in this post.

Why?

Because it’s not an either, or question in my opinion.

If a glass is not full of one or the other, then it’s both.

And that’s how are lives really are.

It's not all doom and gloom, and neither all sunshine and rainbows.

And acknowledging that we go through both is the healthy way to live.

Denying either, or focusing on just one side will only make life harder to live.

Denying the tough times we go through and dismissing them,

only to magnify good and happy times means we’re robbing ourselves

of much needed time to process our thoughts and emotions.

and that will come back to bite us sooner or later. (and p.s. that bite will be very painful and ugly)

Equally, focusing on the hard times only means we keep ourselves

in a loop of misery which will impact us hard physically as well as mentally.

Accept the fact that there will always be tough times but don’t dwell on them for too long.

Seize each and every happy moment and be grateful for them.

Because these are what will fill your cup and help you get through the tough times.

So my cup? It’s both.

Would you call that fempty, fumpty, emptull, fullty? (hmm, last one sounds like an interesting type of tea)

What’s yours?
