FROM PEPSI MAX ADDICT TO MINDSET MASTER: LIZ'S TRANSFORMATION IN UNDER 15 MINUTES.
I have to share the inspiring story of one of my clients Liz, who had been drinking one or more cans of Pepsi Max daily for many many years.
Liz couldn't imagine her day without Pepsi Max. She loved the cool, refreshing, bubbly taste as it trickled down her throat. Even the sound of the gas and bubbles after opening a can was enough to make her mouth water.
However, Liz knew that Pepsi Max wasn't good for her, but she couldn't stop drinking it. She would have a can before starting work each day, and it often resulted in headaches. Working as a nurse in a high-pressure clinic, these constant headaches affected her performance.
In addition to her Pepsi Max addiction, Liz struggled to lose weight due to mindset issues, unhealthy snacking and meals, lack of exercise, and not drinking enough water.
As part of a four-week program to address her various issues, including the Pepsi Max addiction, I conducted a mindset exercise with her. In less than 15 minutes, she lost all interest in consuming Pepsi Max.
That was about 1.5 years ago and Liz still hasn't had any Pepsi Max or experienced any cravings for it. She sees it so unappealing, just as bad as that of a coffee.
Her biggest revelation during the program was the mindset exercise that shifted her addiction. Her response was, "OMG - Pepsi Max - what Pepsi Max! That has blown my mind!"
