This is all very new to me, I'm hoping to grow build upon the blogs that I do do, so any feedback would be massively appreciated!
Sweetheart Nannies Ltd began back in 2015, 9 years ago last May. It was a very daunting beginning having left a partnership and still holding a full time job. I had always wanted to run own my own business but never really knew where to begin and what ball to roll first, all stumped me I always went to work for other companies.
I started my nannying journey back in June 2007 with 3 little ones, who at the time were 3 years old, 1 year old newborn. We are still very close and share lots of amazing memories together including both of the older 2 childrens' 18th birthdays.
Back to the birth of Sweetheart Nannies, sitting for many hours juggling names, searching domain availability, nothing too long, something catchy, something memorable trying to incorporate all of the family values being a nanny meant to me.
At the time I had lots of nanny friends who were keen to help me with events, joining me of creche bookings, travelling up down the country to different beautiful (some, not so) venues.
Event childcare is still quite a new extra touch to weddings moreso the corporate world. Year on year our name was growing, I attended more wedding fairs than I care to remember met some fantastic, enthusiastic blushing brides grooms!
I have now achieved a massive 200+ nannies who are registered with us and cover a wide area of England. We are primarily based in Northamptonshire but we cater to all functions up to 150 miles away. Taking event childcare to Manchester, Chester, Lincoln, London, Suffolk Birmingham to name a few.
Our mobile crèches are best described as a pop up nursery at your wedding or event, we come fully armed with activities, games, non messy craft, books, soft play sensory toys for all ages 0-12 years old. We also have many nannies who have SEN experience.
All of my nannies are minimum level 2 childcare trained and hold an enhanced DBS police check. This gives full peace of mind to all who are attending a wedding or work event.
As a mobile setting we are unable to be Ofsted registered but as a private nanny, many of my nannies are registered privately. We always maintain Ofsted ratios and more often than not we over ratio to ensure there is an extra nanny to cover toilet breaks, emergencies, fire evacuations etc.
