Mindfulness in Motion: Simple Day-to-Day Wellness


Welcome to my blog! I'm Aisling Louise Owens Nash, your guide in this Lower Tox Living journey. Today, let's take a look at the power of mindfulness in motion, discovering day-to-day wellness practices for your overall well-being.


In this blog, we'll touch on how to integrate mindful habits into your daily routine, to create a state of mindfulness in motion. From morning rituals to bedtime practices, discover simple switches that contribute to your overall well-being.


It's not all about giving something up in health but often about adding in... here are 3 simple options.


Morning Mindfulness: Start your day with intention through mindfulness exercises that set a positive tone for the hours ahead. You can join our free Be Well Miracle Morning calls Monday-Friday daily for 30mins!


Workday Movement: Incorporate short mindful breaks during your workday to reduce stress and enhance focus. I often suggest using standing desks or Yoga Balls at your desk if you are someone who works in a static position a lot to add some core activity and movement.


Evening Serenity: Wind down with calming practices that signal your body and mind that it's time to relax and prepare for restful sleep. Utilise the Wellbeing Mode on your phone’s settings, use aeroplane mode in the evenings if your phone is in your room, and try lavender, wild orange and Siberian fir in a diffuser in your bedroom in the evenings. It brings relaxation, joy and grounding.

Choose one mindfulness practice to incorporate into your day, declare it publicly and tag me so we can be accountable! It could be a brief morning meditation, a mindful breathing exercise, or a calming evening ritual.
