From Retreat Winner to MIB Leader: My Empowering Journey with Mums In Business

Embarking on the dual journey of entrepreneurship and motherhood is a challenge that many of us face. Today, I'm thrilled to share my personal journey and the pivotal moment that led me to proudly assume the role of a Mums In Business (MIB) Leader for the Wrexham group. Join me as I

For years, I had been a member of Mums In Business but hadn't fully engaged with the community until March 2023. Call it fate when I won Leona Burton's retreat in a £5 raffle – an experience that had been  on my vision board. The excitement was overwhelming, and little did I know that this retreat would become the catalyst for a profound shift in my life.

Stepping into the retreat, I was a mix of nerves and excitement. Despite being a confident person, meeting new faces outside my usual circle triggered a unique set of nerves. However, the incredible warmth and camaraderie of the ladies quickly put me at ease. We connected, built friendships, and shared experiences that transcended my expectations. It was in that moment that I realized I had found my tribe with Mums In Business and I met LEONA! manifestation at its best!

The profound impact of the retreat lingered long after I returned home. The sense of community and belonging inspired me to apply for the Mums In Business Leader role for the Wrexham group. It felt like a natural progression – an opportunity to give back, support other like-minded ladies, and contribute to the growth of the community that had become an integral part of my journey.

As a mum with a passion for business, being a Mums In Business Leader has been a source of solace and strength. The role allows me to fuel the entrepreneurial spirit within myself and others, providing a supportive space to navigate the challenges of balancing family life and business endeavors. The power of community building and the meaningful connections forged within the Wrexham group have been nothing short of amazing.

Becoming a Mums In Business Leader has enabled me to create a network of support that extends beyond business. The connections made have blossomed into lasting friendships and invaluable partnerships. The role isn't just about lifting others up; it's about giving back, mentoring, and contributing to the growth of aspiring mums within the Wrexham community.

To all the local ladies out there, I extend an invitation to join our Wrexham Mums In Business group. I would love to have you in this supportive community, and together, we can celebrate the strength, resilience, and boundless potential of mumpreneurs. Join me as we continue to explore and thrive within this incredible community that has become a cornerstone of my entrepreneurial adventure.
