Conditioning In Human Design & How It Is Impacting Your Business

Understand how your energetic flow can be conditioned, directly impacting success and flow in your business.

Know thy self is my mantra for life!

In Human Design, where we are open or undefined, is we are open to conditioning from the world around us.

And this conditioning never stops, if our centres are open, we experience conditioning from others every single day.

Why is this important?

Because the conditioning you will be experiencing in these open centres can be misunderstood as facts and truths about you and your ability, creating a false sense of identity.

And living life through the lens of this false sense of identity is going to feel like walking through wet cement.

Everything will feel harder, take longer, and be more emotionally charged than it needs to be.

You will begin to assume behaviours that affirm this false sense of identity, and thus moving your energy into an unaligned flow of creation.

Knowing how the conditioning of each open centre can play out, especially as a soul led entrepreneur, is the first step in mastering the art of your energy and shifting into an effortless flow of fulfilment and success in your business.

Head Centre (Crown)

Not-Self Theme: Feeling pressured to answer questions or resolve uncertainties that aren’t theirs.

Impact on Income and Success: The pressure to constantly solve problems can lead to burnout and distract from focusing on your own intuitive guidance for business. This can result in chasing unaligned opportunities rather than trusting your inner authority to guide them towards the most aligned and profitable ideas.

Ajna Centre

Not-Self Theme: The need to be certain and to appear as if you "know" all the answers.

Impact on Income and Success: This can cause overthinking and hesitation in making decisions, leading to missed opportunities. In business, this can manifest as an inability to trust in your intuitive flashes and innovative ideas, resulting in stagnation or failure to act on profitable ventures.

Throat Centre

Not-Self Theme: Feeling pressured to speak or be heard, leading to talking out of turn or forcing communication.

Impact on Income and Success: This can result in ineffective communication, disrupting relationships with clients and partners. The pressure to constantly promote yourself and your services can come across as inauthentic, potentially repelling potential clients and opportunities.

G Centre (Identity)

Not-Self Theme: Seeking love and direction outside of yourself and adapting to fit in.

Impact on Income and Success: This can lead to a lack of clarity and consistency in your business identity, causing confusion for clients and a lack of alignment in business decisions. This inconsistency can undermine the trust and connection needed to attract and retain clients.

Heart Centre (Ego/Will)

Not-Self Theme: Trying to prove worthiness or undervaluing yourself.

Impact on Income and Success: This can lead to undercharging for services, overcommitting, and feeling compelled to prove your worth through overworking. These behaviours can deplete their energy and resources, ultimately affecting your profitability and sustainability.

Solar Plexus Centre

Not-Self Theme: Avoiding confrontation and truth, leading to people-pleasing and emotional turmoil.

Impact on Income and Success: This can cause inconsistent decision-making based on fluctuating emotions, leading to instability in business operations. The fear of conflict can also prevent you from setting appropriate boundaries with clients, resulting in overextension and burnout.

Sacral Centre

Not-Self Theme: Not knowing when enough is enough, leading to overwork and burnout.

Impact on Income and Success: This can result in taking on too many projects or clients, leading to decreased quality of work and personal exhaustion. The inability to sustain energy levels can cause breakdowns in business processes and client satisfaction.

Spleen Centre

Not-Self Theme: Holding onto things that aren’t good for you, driven by fear.

Impact on Income and Success: This can manifest as holding onto outdated business strategies, partnerships, or offers due to fear of change. It can prevent growth and adaptation in a dynamic market, leading to missed opportunities and stagnation.

Root Centre

Not-Self Theme: Feeling pressured to be free of pressure.

Impact on Income and Success: This can cause constant rushing to complete tasks and achieve goals, leading to stress and burnout. The inability to manage this pressure can create a chaotic business environment, affecting productivity and the ability to deliver consistent results.

This is just a glimpse into how the conditioning in your open centres is impacting your soul led business but should help you understand the cycles you have been experiencing.

For me the ‘fear’ in my open spleen kept me from following the true vision I could see for my business for years!

I danced around variations of what I knew I wanted to create.

I created a story about my inability to commit to things, as I would begin this in a way that was a watered down version of what I wanted to create and my defined heart centre would go on strike, because I was not choosing what it desired me to create, so I would loose momentum and interest quite quickly, reinventing myself and my business a few weeks later, with ‘another’ watered down version.

Then I began to study my human design and could see how this was all playing out, I was misunderstanding the energy I was absorbing from others as my own.

The fears in my spleen are not mine, because my spleen is open and cannot hold consistent energy.

My mind hooked onto the feeling of fears from others as if they were mine and created a made up story about it to make sense of the experience.

This is known as the not-self mind.

A mental pattern we create in the moments of misunderstanding the energy we take in from others.
