Up early this morning to work on another painting before the kids get up. It’s a beautiful day, the sun is shining. Days like today encourage bright, happy and joyous art.
Unlike earlier in the week, the rain was intense but also beautiful. I do love the rain but I was thinking we may need boats to get around. My mood while it’s raining, is not so joyous but still hopeful. It’s a time to slow down, to plan, or to read a really good book under a warm blanket.
