It's easy to get swept away by the chaos of the day. However, I've discovered that the key to maintaining balance and seizing the day lies in my morning routine. I swear by it, and I know  it sets the tone for the rest of my day. It has for the past 30+ years. Let me walk you through my non-negotiable morning rituals, and how they've helped me stay focused, positive, and ready to handle whatever curve balls life throws my way.

Early Risers Reap the Rewards 

One of the pillars of my morning routine is waking up early. There's something truly magical about the stillness and calm of the early morning hours. It gives me a head start on the day and allows me to ease into my routine without the rush and chaos that can often accompany a late start. Waking up early before anyone else in the house is up gives me the time I need to focus on myself and prepare for the day ahead.

Decaf Coffee Delight


As a coffee lover, I look forward to that first cup of decaf coffee in the morning. While I appreciate the boost of energy that caffeine can provide, I prefer to keep things a bit more mellow in the morning. Decaf coffee gives me the comforting warmth and flavor of coffee without the jitters or caffeine crashes later in the day. It's a gentle way to kickstart my morning.

Journaling for Quick Meditation


Next up on my morning agenda is a quick meditation session through journaling. Ibhwleas to my gym and take a few minutes to jot down my thoughts, my greatfulls, as I call them, helps me clear my mind and set a positive tone for the day. I journal about my self perception and read quotes from a hook to set the tone. This simple act of self-reflection allows me to acknowledge any worries or stressors and let them go, making room for a more focused and productive mindset.

Energize with a Morning Workout


Exercise is a non-negotiable part of my morning routine. Getting my body moving is essential for my overall well-being. A morning workout not only boosts my physical energy but also clears my mind and primes me for a productive day ahead. 

Refreshing Morning Shower


After breaking a sweat, there's nothing quite like a refreshing morning shower to invigorate the senses. The feeling of warm water washing away any lingering grogginess and preparing me for the day ahead is pure bliss. It's a simple pleasure that I cherish and look forward to every morning.

The Day is Golden


By the time I've completed my morning routine, I feel like I've already accomplished so much, even before the day officially begins. I've set the stage for productivity, positivity, and resilience. I put my bubble around me, a suit of mental armor and tackle whatever comes my way.
