I'm thrilled to be part of something transformative: 'I Quit! How to Lose Your Job and Find Your Dream Career.' This powerful book brings together 19 global thought leaders who turned career challenges into opportunities for reinvention and purpose.

Why This Book Matters Now We all face moments that make us question "What now?" Whether it's an unexpected job loss, burnout, or the realization that our work no longer fulfills us, these challenges can feel overwhelming. 'I Quit!' shows how these moments can become catalysts for profound change.

Beyond its inspiring message, this project has a vital mission: 100% of net sales will support victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton in the U.S. Your purchase not only guides your transformation but helps rebuild communities in need.

Why I wrote my chapter: "The Intuitive Maverick: How Reading the Signs Led Me to Innovation Leadership"

I wrote this chapter because I believe every person holds a vital piece in the puzzle of life, yet too many never discover their unique purpose. Through several pivotal career reinventions, I've learned that what might seem like setbacks are often redirections toward one's true calling.

When my dream job at Guess Jeans slipped through my fingers right after college, it felt like failing before I'd even started. But that rejection launched me on an extraordinary journey that would ultimately reveal my life's mission: helping unify the world by empowering leaders to create truly inclusive organizations where everyone can thrive.

In my chapter, I share how each career transition taught me invaluable lessons about human connection and organizational transformation. Through experiences spanning from Tokyo to Qatar, I developed the S.Y.N.C. Method™ - combining Japanese consensus-building techniques with innovative concepts like Orbs of Influence and breaking the "Curse of Babel." This framework emerged from my own need to understand how to fit in and excel in diverse positions, and it now helps others do the same.

During my time at the University of Illinois, despite outward success, I faced a personal battle with depression while supporting a family of eight. This challenging period revealed a profound truth: our greatest struggles often lead us to our most meaningful contributions. Through professional coaching and trust in the journey, I discovered that my varied experiences weren't random - they were preparing me to help others find their path to mutual prosperity.

Today, as founder of Mutual Prosperity and creator of the Nemawashi Centers concept, I'm living my purpose by helping organizations create environments where everyone can contribute their unique puzzle piece. I wrote this chapter because I believe that when people understand how to read the signs in their own journey and learn to build genuine consensus, we move closer to a world where everyone can become mutually prosperous.
