Every day starts with the usual symphony of alarms (yes, plural) and the delightful chorus of “Mom, where’s my…” You name it: shoes, schoolwork (yes we homeschool!), or the ever-elusive favorite toy. Amidst the morning madness, I’m mentally prepping for a day packed with meetings, training sessions, and the occasional superhero costume crisis.
I’ve mastered the art of making breakfast, making snacks, and reviewing business reports simultaneously. It’s all about balance, right? Teais my loyal companion in this morning dance, ensuring I’m ready to conquer both the boardroom and the breakfast table. My secret? Pretending I’m a contestant on a high-stakes cooking show—Iron Chef: Mom Edition.
Mib International Magic: Where the Real Fun Happens
At Mib International, our mission is to create a supportive space for moms and women in business. We offer top-notch training and education programs designed to help women thrive in their careers without sacrificing family time. Our child-friendly networking events are a hit, where kids can play and moms can connect, share ideas, and support each other.
Picture this: a conference room filled with talented women exchanging business strategies while little ones are happily engaged in a creative corner. It’s networking reimagined, and it’s beautiful! Plus, where else can you close a deal and settle a toddler toy dispute in the same breath? Ha..or a living room dining table surrounded by note books and cheesey fingerprints!
The Lunch Break Balancing Act: Master of Multitasking
Ah, lunchtime! The perfect opportunity to switch gears from business mogul to sandwich artist. I cherish these midday moments, whether it’s a quick picnic with the kids or a virtual lunch meeting with our amazing Mib International team. Multitasking is my superpower, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Pro tip: If you ever need to brainstorm business ideas, consult a preschooler. Their creativity knows no bounds, and they’re not afraid to tell you your logo needs more glitter.
Afternoon Adventures: Business and Playdates
Post-lunch, it’s back to business. Between training sessions, educational workshops, and strategic planning, my afternoons are a blend of productivity and playdates. Our training programs are designed to fit seamlessly into a mom’s busy schedule, offering flexibility and invaluable skills.
And let’s not forget our signature child-friendly networking events! They’re not just about building professional connections; they’re about creating a community where women support each other through every triumph and challenge. Plus, there’s nothing like bonding over shared stories of kid-induced chaos.
Evening Enchantment: Wrangling the Herd
As the sun sets, it’s time to wind down (or attempt to). Dinner is a lively affair with five (one has moved out!) kids sharing their daily adventures, and sometimes, business ideas too! We’ve had some pretty innovative dinner table discussions, thanks to my little entrepreneurs-in-the-making.
Once the kids are in bed, I steal a few quiet moments to reflect on the day, plan for tomorrow, and sometimes indulge in a good book or a favorite TV show. It’s these small moments of calm that recharge me for another exciting day ahead. And let’s be real—there’s always chocolate involved.
The Heart of It All: Embracing the Chaos
Running Mib International while raising six kids is a rollercoaster ride of joy, challenges, and endless love. Every day is an adventure, and I’m grateful for the incredible support system of women who inspire and uplift each other.
