Being dyslexic and a starting a business

The learning curves I’ve learnt along the journey of being in business and being dyslexic.

Setting up a business isn't easy alone, but being dyslexic can have its flaws.

Along this journey of setting up this company I've learnt:

It's ok to make mistakes along your journey

its never 'you' it's 'we'

Test, test, improve, test, ask for feedback and continue

Ask for help when you require it (Look into a business mentor that can support with your emotion support/vision and etc if you require it)

You will find a new network of people alongside your journey, that understand what it's like to set up a business

Not everyone is happy to see you grow
Learning to align with your values and mission when making any decisions for your organisation (Knowing the why)

Your friends won't always support you alongside your journey and that's ok (Learn to expect it)

Accountability to balance time

Its ok to say no to opportunities alongside your business if they don't align (Just remember your why to justify it to yourself) New opportunities will happen
See what your target audience would like for support.

Being dyslexic I've learnt :

Don't let anybody tell you can't, tell them watch me, or I haven't done it yet

Yes we make errors, spelling mistakes, words and other things ( Just embrace it anyways)

Asking for help is not a weakness, it creates many opportunities as a community

Have the confidence to know your boundaries to create opportunities alongside your journey

What's the worse that happen, you learn and grow

Be authentically you
when someone tells you don't apply do it anyway (get the level of support you require, and apply for it) So many opportunities have happened to me by saying watch me.

i believe in you, keep going.
