July was a month full of exciting and enriching networking events, and we're thrilled to share the highlights with you. We've connected, learned, and grown together, and as we look forward to August, there's even more in store. Let's look back over last month's events and get a sneak peek at what's coming up.
July Event Highlights
Online Pre-Event Networking - July 2nd
On July 2nd, we hosted an online gathering for attendees and speakers of our upcoming Mind Body Business Event. It was a speedy networking session filled with energy and enthusiasm. Sharon Dmake shared some brilliant self-care tips and set us all some challenges in our breakout networking rooms with affirmations and self-care goals to work on.
Kildare and Meath Joint Event
July 18th The ladies of Kildare and Meath joined forces for a joint event where Sorina Dascal from Social Click led an excellent session on Social Media Strategy. The impact was clear, as the top five contributors for July in the Kildare Group were attendees of this event. We've seen them consistently online, even going live! It's fantastic to see the ladies putting their new knowledge and skills to work and to watch their confidence grow.
Cavan and Monaghan -
July 19th Joanna Gore hosted the biggest event Cavan and Monaghan have had to date, with guest speaker Sanda Semeika of SandsPhotography. Sanda shared her expertise on building your brand through visual storytelling. It was fantastic to see such a large group of women together, many attending for the first time and expressing how wonderfully welcoming and comfortable our events are.
Newry Mourne, Co Down, Northern Ireland -
July 29th Our very first MIB event in Newry Mourne took place at the Caring Coins community cafe, thanks to the generosity of Kerrie Havern. It was a fantastic gathering where our ladies shared their stories and made meaningful connections. We had great fun, and it was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and supportive.
Looking Ahead to August
Dublin - August 8th
This is our first-ever Dublin-based event and it will take place at The Crowne Plaza Blanchardstown on August 8th, 2024, from 9:30 am to 2 pm. Registration is essential. Gulshen Bano from Strikeback Self Defence will lead a 40-minute Self Defence workshop filled with interaction, fun, and safety skills. Laura Staunton will conduct a mini-workshop on 'Impact- messaging and marketing' to help you create impactful messaging. Yuki Fragariani will teach a mini-workshop on how to step forward when you feel like stepping back, incorporating yogic movement and hypnosis techniques. Danielle Serpico will deliver an interactive session on tapping into your 'Subconscious Edge' for optimum success. Sanda Semeika will host mini headshot shoots for Headshots for Hopefull Handbags, helping you nail your visual branding while raising funds for a great cause. Cristina from Aoibhneas Domestic Abuse Support will talk about their work and how you can support them.
Cavan/Monaghan -
August 16th Join a community of local (and not so-local) like-minded women in business and grow meaningful connections, increase your visibility, build relationships, and expand your business! Our next event for Cavan/Monaghan will be on Friday, August 16th at 10:30 am at Errigal Country House Hotel in Cootehill. This event features YOU!!! This is a Showcase Event where each attendee is given a few minutes to showcase one product or service in more detail. Depending on attendee numbers the time will be split and the timers set! Newry Mourne, Co Down -
August 26th Our next Newry Mourne event will be held on August 26th from 6-8pm at Caring Coins Cafe in Newry. We will be learning all about Social Media with our guest speaker Tara McGreevey, aka Little Mourne Blog. Tara will share her tips and advice on building a brand and working with big names in the industry. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your social media skills!
Online Networking Session - August 27th Our next online networking session for ticket holders for Mind Body Business will be on August 27th at 10 am. Melanie Boylan will share some of her expertise and set challenges for your breakout rooms, and we will have another surprise speaker on the day! Make sure you are registered for the October 12th Mind, Body, Business Event before the end of August as tickets will revert to full price (€197) on September 1st. Kildare and Meath -
Join us for our August event where again we will be bringing 2 neighbouring communities of Kildare and Meath women in business on August 29th from 10 am to 12:15 pm. We're having a Showcase and Speaker Roulette Networking session. Let's have some fun, and food, and learn about each other's businesses this month.
