Do it FOR Your Loved Ones

It's easy to neglect our needs when we've got an endless list of to-do's. So how can we reframe that?

When you have an infinite list of to-do's it’s easy to just put your needs at the bottom of it (maybe even leave them out).

Because no one will hold you accountable,

or complain,

or keep nagging you to do it.

It’s not urgent (until it seriously impacts your health or well-being).

So why prioritise it?

If you can’t do it because you feel everyone else’s needs are more important than yours (hello guilt!)

Or because you feel yours can wait until everyone else’s are met (when does that ever happen?)

Then do it FOR your loved ones.

Because if you’re stressed, you can’t fully enjoy your time with them.

Because if you’re burnt out, you can’t give 100%.

More importantly,

Because if you fall ill, no one else will be able to take care of them like you do.

What will help you put your needs higher up the list?
