I was saved by the massage modality I specialise IN (La Cerrada) & am really passionate about offering it to all women because it is our birthright to have chapters & phases closed so we can flow on with our Lives more successfully from a place of being in our full power.

ABOUT ME:

I am Anna Chantal (Hobbs) of Cherry Blossom Therapies I am mama/stepmama to five gorgeous children age 9-15yrs, two of whom are SEN. I was born to be a safe-space holder I love to help people move through life successfully.

As a single (partnered) mum to my three birth children, despite a decade of experience in business, I had to take a huge step back have an 18month break to get two of my children through their gruelling SEN Assessment journeys. I have only recently had the courage to come back to business thanks to MIB because let's face it, without support rallying around you, it is quite scary to do! I am more determined than ever now to make my dreams become a reality for myself my babies I thank all of you for your support so far getting me here.

ABOUT THE BUSINESS:

Through my therapy business, I am so honoured to be in a position to help other women close their chapters that need to be closed to move on with their lives in full confidence power. I was saved by the massage modality I specialise IN (La Cerrada) am really passionate about offering it to all women because it is our birthright to have chapters phases closed so we can flow on with our Lives more successfully from a place of being in our full power.

ABOUT LA CERRADA:

I specialise in the incredible massage modality called La Cerrada, or Closing the Bones there are only approximately 350 practitioners in the UK. It came from a Mexican line of incredible mothers grandmother's traditionally for post-birth but it is beneficial for so much more as well.

As practitioners, we have been lucky enough to be trained by incredible safe space holders incredibly inspiring teachers together we are trying to bring this tradition to the West, who are the only culture that does not have a ceremony like this post-birth as a normal.

ABOUT YOUR 3HR CEREMONY:

1. In the 3hr ceremony, we begin with refreshments talking. I offer you ceremonial cacao or herbal tea, as we talk through difficulties challenges you have had in your life, so we both know what may come up to be released during your ceremony.

2. After talking, when you're ready, whilst you stand up, we use Mexican Rebozo shawls to sift, rock massage you to help move things as they should move around within your beautiful magical body (lymphatic massage).

3. We then invite you to lie on the shawls on the floor, move onto a beautiful abdominal massage, which includes a womb space massage, before moving onto the process of trauma release through the massage of the hip bones - we store trauma in our hip bones.

N. B. Trauma can come up for us in many forms. It can be anything from the loss of a loved one, a miscarriage, addiction recovery, mental illness, bad relationship experiences where you have had your power taken away from you, even as far as a bad or good experience of childbirth if things didn't go as you'd hoped planned (3 c-sections over here). There are so many reasons why we hold trauma, even just from everyday stress it is important to release this trauma however we can, otherwise it can turn into dis-ease illness.

4. After the massage, we sift once more with the sacred shawls as you lie down, then it is rest time.

5. We wrap you up from head to toe in the shawls (imagine a giant swaddle) at this stage I will ask you to fully relax into the wraps so you can feel held safe.

6. We tighten the wraps as tight as you would like, particularly around the hips, in order to 'close' your pelvic bones - hence the name 'closing the bones,' which likely will have been left wide open after childbirth or traumatic relationships.

7. We cover you with soft blankets allow you to fully unravel whilst you're being safely held by the shawls. Tears may come, of relief or release that is OK. We need this sometimes. It is all a process.

8. After resting, we unwrap you you will feel renewed, some say reborn put all back together again.
