If you've never been to Australia you might think that we all ride Kangaroos and we have sand in our backyards, but that's only partly true. We have wild Kangaroos in the field behind our house and the beach is practically on our doorstep but beyond that life is pretty much the same.
Alongside raising five children, building a business and starting up a not for profit charity I've been working behind the scenes to build strong foundations in the Brisbane area for MIB to grow throughout Australia. We are well established with engaged and energetic MIB groups in Brisbane City, North, South, West, Sunshine Coast Moreton Bay and we're about to re-launch Wynnum Manly, East of Brisbane.
One thing all of our leaders have in common is that they are empowering women in their own businesses as well as their MIB communities. It's a natural progression when it's something you're passionate about.
Together in the Queensland region for March we empowered 66 women at our in person networking events across five areas and over 4,500 women within our Facebook groups. That's a lot of impact!
We had guest speakers sharing their knowledge about growing and scaling a seven figure business, navigating motherhood and business with Neuroscience, finding and getting to know our ideal clients, balancing hormones and business and performance anxiety and how it can affect your business from a retired Olympian!
We laughed, cried, smiled, hugged and drank coffee! We met new women, we strengthened relationships with existing friends and we learned plenty of takeaways that we could implement in our businesses. We even made money along the way, all while juggling babies, toddlers, primary schoolers, high schoolers and adult kids. Sounds like a successful month to me!

With Brisbane now well established (although we do have vacancies in Gympie, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Morayfield, Logan Fraser Coast), we're now focused on growing the other capital cities so if you're in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Tasmania or Darwin we want to hear from you!
