I'm super excited to be here.
I also run my own online business. I basically help.
I do love, I'm very passionate about females, but I help females reduce their toxin intake, their daily toxin intake by skincare, makeup, nutrition and body care.
We operate in six countries.
I am so passionate that we have a beast certification stamp and it's all about putting and balancing people and profit.
I am so excited to be here with Ashley, who is over in Australia.
So I'm just going to hand straight over to you.
It's not. It's in the UK where I am.
Thanks, Carol. It's great to be here with you today. My name is Ashley Richards, and I'm also a mom in business, based in Melbourne, Australia. I'm the founder of Nourish Your Soul, where I specialize in holistic wellness coaching for busy moms.
I'm passionate about helping moms prioritize their health and well-being so they can show up as their best selves for their families and businesses. I believe that self-care is not selfish; it's essential for maintaining balance and happiness in all areas of life.
I'm excited to share my experiences and insights with our listeners and learn from incredible women like Carol along the way.

I'm like, if you can leave a review, message me your thoughts and things like that so we can use it to grow. And I'm like, why aren't we doing these, jump on live for five minutes and they can tell us what they loved and then move on. It's that face-to-face connection is everything, even if it is online, seeing our faces is so insane for that brand recognition. Yeah, I need to do more of that. As I said, I want to do more of that. Because yeah, any top tips for introverts? So obviously we have all people from all different backgrounds coming to networking groups who really are there for a purpose that they want to grow their own business and be seen. But sometimes people find it a bit tricky. Do you have any tips for those people? I think the first thing is show up in the groups first. So whatever networking group that is, they all have some kind of Facebook page. Show up in those first, because people will start to recognize your name and that will make it a little bit easier to show up to the event. You're not a complete stranger.
And then when you come to the event, if you're nervous, I think come early, because then you're going to be able to speak with the event organizer or the stragglers that are there, rather than walking in late to women, women, all of these things. I think that early helps. And you've got to be brave to do that too. Like don't get me wrong, sometimes showing up late, you can just squeeze in the back and not actually talk to anyone. I think showing up early, it's less people to talk to. And then you can get comfortable and find your seat before everyone else gets there. But like we said before, go find someone else who's sitting by themselves. Just has to be that one person. So be brave. Yeah, I find that always brave. And I know it feels your body is telling you this is not safe, but you are safe. Yeah, really safe. That's the biggest thing, yeah. Now we've already talked about this a little bit. Yeah. How important is the follow-up? So important. Oh my goodness, we were just talking about this before, of me not doing it and you having these amazing coffee catch-ups after meeting somebody. So yeah, that's the missing link, I think, for me. I do really think that, I would say the fortune is in the follow-up, like just follow that. Oh, I love that. Fortune is in the follow-up. Really is.
And I am, especially if someone has inquired about your product or brand, and you've given them the information, and then I always say they're going to witness protection, something I use all the time. Literally, they just disappear. And then quite often people don't want to follow up. They don't wanna seem like they're being annoying. But I use this example all the time with my business. So Domino's Pizza. Years ago, we ordered a Domino's Pizza. And they obviously take my email and phone number, so I gave it to them. And then every week, I am not joking, actually, every week they message and say, buy one, get one free, Friday. And it pops up and I think, oh. And then the next week they say, buy a pizza and get a liter of Coke. And then the next week, and again, I never once did I think, oh for God's sake, stop messaging. I just thought, well, I'm not buying pizza at the minute. And I don't take offense to the follow up, but I think so many people are scared to follow up. I just think it's so important. So I'm thinking.
What's the worst that gonna happen? They say no. Like, cool, no problem. That's fine. Have you ever stumbled across any unexpected opportunities through your networking? Ooh. Let me have a think. Oh, sort of unexpected, but not really. So within my networking network, the amount of women in the group that have cafes that can host our events is incredible. Oh wow. Yeah. Maybe it's a big thing here on the Sunshine Coast. There's so many cafes and there's so many restaurants. So yeah, there's things happening in the background and we're gonna have a, yeah. I think that's probably the most unexpected thing. I'm trying to think of anything else that's happened in my networking live. I am, well, you have a think. In the main, there's the page and there's the group, isn't there? But if you are part of, what's the monthly subscription? Oh. Success Hub. Yes. Success Hub. I don't think people understand the value that is available to them. And this isn't a plug. This is genuinely, because I was one of those people, I subscribed to the monthly Success Hub.
