Those who know me, really know me, know this: I don’t settle.
I never have. I never will.
That doesn’t mean life is a straight line. In fact, it’s anything but. Life’s a winding road, full of curveballs, detours, and scenic routes you didn’t see coming. But through it all, I stay aligned with what feels right, what feels connected to purpose, passion, and peace.
And I don't know what may feel right in the moment I take a pause and think about my "GO To Vision." It gets me to focus on something totally different, even if it's for only a few minutes. Believe it or not this allows the not sure what to do a bit of time to work itself out.
As much as I value balance (and trust me, I do), I also understand that in order to feel that balance, we need some level of structure and organization in our lives. Otherwise, it’s too easy to slide into being overwhelmed and burned out. I’ve been there. I’ve seen it. And I’ve learned to catch it before it catches me.
But even with all the adjusting, pivoting, and redirection that comes with living a purpose-filled life…
I do not settle.
The path may shift. The vision may evolve. But my heart and intuition? They’re my compass. They never lead me wrong.
Following the path that feels aligned with my soul isn’t “settling.”
It’s honoring the inner guidance that’s been divinely placed within me.
It’s trusting that my unique version of success, my highest, greatest good is not only possible, but it also lifts everyone around me. When I’m living in alignment, others benefit. That’s the beautiful ripple effect of walking in purpose.
So please, don’t confuse settling with compromising.
Settling is giving up on what lights you up. It’s shrinking yourself to fit someone else’s mold.
Compromise, on the other hand, is about being flexible enough to take the path God and the universe are placing before you, even if it looks different than the one you planned. That’s where the real magic happens.
The key is tuning in. Let your intuition lead. Let it flow.
Because when you stop resisting and start trusting, you open the doors wide to receive.
Never settle for less than the life you envision.
Compromise? Absolutely, when it means bending toward your truth, not breaking away from it.
Stay aligned. Stay open. Stay you.
