The Magic of La Forêt De Lumière

I’m still buzzing...truly, soaring after the unforgettable experience that was La Forêt De Lumière in May. My heart is full, my soul is lit up, and my inbox is overflowing with messages from the incredible women who joined me in this sacred space. What happened over those three days? Magic. Pure, undeniable magic.

Eight women arrived as strangers... and left as sisters.

We hugged.
We cried.
We shared vulnerable stories.
We healed.
We celebrated.

This wasn’t just a retreat. It was a transformation.

Creating a Sanctuary of Support

From the very beginning, my deepest intention was to create a space that felt safe, secure, and supportive—a container where women could truly let go and be seen, heard, and held. I’ve always believed that:

“One is only ready to listen and learn when they know that you care.”

And care, we did. Fiercely.

Day One: Foundations of Connection

We kicked off by grounding into trust and connection. We explored the five core necessities of relationships and participated in activities that helped us take gentle risks, open up, and see one another clearly.

That afternoon, the incomparable Ana Kosta led a deeply sacred Womb Circle. Even with two years of pelvic floor therapy under my belt, Ana introduced me to profound new wisdom about the pelvic floor. I was in awe.

The day closed with reflective journaling—an invitation to observe our emotional autopilot and bring more conscious awareness to how we move through life. It was powerful, eye-opening, and the perfect way to end a transformative first day.

Day Two: Rewiring the Mind Awakening Joy

We began with a burst of joy as Keri Denney lit up the space with her infectious Zumba energy! The laughter and movement set the tone for a vibrant, expansive day.

Keri also led us through a practical and empowering essential oils workshop, showing us how to harness the healing powers of nature.

The afternoon turned inward as we explored the true power of our thoughts and beliefs. We examined how our minds shape our physical reality, and then bravely uncovered and rewrote limiting beliefs that have held us back.

Later, we embraced the calming magic of Canal Art with the gentle guidance of Marie Charles. Watching everyone’s minds quiet and bodies soften during this session was a reminder of how healing creativity can be. We closed with more journaling and soul nourishment.

Day Three: Release, Rebirth Radiance

Once again, we danced into the day with Keri’s energizing Zumba session, followed by an unforgettable Emotional Release Party with Ana. She led us through physical movement designed to release stored guilt, shame, fear, and anger. It was liberating.

Then came breathwork on the terrace, where the wind carried away what no longer served us. The serenity and stillness that followed was indescribable.

In the afternoon, we headed to a peaceful nearby beach for a walking meditation, and then prepared for our Come As You’ll Be Party: Health Edition. With group Reiki, massages, laughter, and bold declarations of future dreams, we embodied our future selves and believed in them fully.

We laughed until we cried.
We stood tall in our truth.
And we remembered who we really are.
