When I first read the synopsis of All of You I knew that this was my kind of book and as I was about to be going on holiday it was perfect timing!
I started reading the book whilst sat on the beach and well the first sex scene gave 50 Shades of Grey a run for its money!!
Instantly I had to message Karen to say 'Wow"
Safe to say I was hooked and it was only the first chapter! Althought the book isn't necessarily in chapters as it rotates between Shannen viewpoint and Cal viewpoint seamlessly. I have read other books that do this and ended up giving up as the storyline was getting confusing but Karen has done incredible job of keeping the storyline clear regardless of who was telling the story!
No other book has had me this hooked since 50 Shades of Grey! This book sends you through all kinds of emotions but most of all it makes you will Cal and Shannen on to make things work as despite their backgrounds meaning that sterotypically they're not a match, the reality is so different!
After all, they do say that opposites attract and that is very true of this pair!
You become so hooked on Cal and Shannen relationship that the ending sort of creepes up on you and you don't quite believe the book has ended and your left wanting more but also wondering what you're supposed to do until book 2, I mean there has to be a book 2, you can't leave us all hanging and waiting!
Karen's attention to detail and the descriptions along with the more intimate scenes left me with a movie playing in my head. Writing an erotic novel, I imagine is no easy task but Karen has done this effortlessly and I look forward to reading more of her books!
