In October 2023 I took the decision to come back as a leader 

I was a leader during lockdown and then when I took on a Full Time job I had to step away whilst I found my new routine and juggling a business.  I also took some time away from MIB and gradually noticed a decline in my business as I wasn't networking

I slowly worked my way back into the local groups and the main group of over 60,000 mums and women in business, which if you're not in, you're massively missing a trick!  Since January 2024, I've already had a chat with someone about collobartion for Wedding planning and just this morning I was being repeatedly tagged when someone asked for a wedding planner - the power of networking 

Anyway I found myself firmly back in MIB and realised I still wasn't networking as my closest meetings were 40 minutes away and without taking time off work I couldn't get there.  Then the opportunity came for new leaders and so I jumped! 

I got it and now I can help put Kidderminster businesses on the map but more than it helps my business.  As a planner if I can showcase how I can bring a group of small business owners together each month and be the go to for what I do it helps raise my credibility and of course the commission side helps.

The other side of being a Leader that I love is the training provided by Leona for being a leader.  How to sell our meetings and all the other things that go on with MIB, I can then transpose this to my business.

Some might see MIB as a seperate business, for me I just see it as a string to my whole business of wedding and event planning:

Finding a venue
Finding speakers
promotiong the event 
Getting the sales 
running the event 
Following up from the event 
Repeat every month 

Thats why I became a leader, to help more businesses network and prove that I am the go to planner in the Worcestershire and West Midlands area
